Rob and Dani Mattisinko are more than just real estate agents—they’re real people with a deep-rooted passion for their community. As a full-time husband and wife team specializing in luxury home sales in North Scottsdale, their tagline, “Not Just Realtors, Real People,” reflects both their professional expertise and their genuine connection to the area.

From Newlyweds to Community Leaders

In 2003, Rob and Dani traded the bustle of Long Island for the scenic beauty of McDowell Mountain Ranch, settling in Sienna Canyon. “We moved into the house as newlyweds,” Rob recalls, “then formed friendships with other young families as our kids went through the neighborhood schools. Now, we’re almost empty nesters, hanging out with 65-year-olds playing pickleball!”

Their journey through every life stage in McDowell Mountain Ranch gives them a unique perspective that benefits their clients. “After living in and selling real estate in MMR for 20 years, we can truly say no one knows the neighborhood and appreciates the value of its amenities as well as we do,” Rob says.

Balancing Business and Family

The Mattisinkos bring a complementary skill set to their real estate business. Rob offers extensive market knowledge, pricing expertise, and a consultative approach that puts clients first. Meanwhile, Dani, a certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist, focuses on strategic marketing and creating an exceptional client experience.

“Now that our 16-year-old drives and the carpool years are behind us, we have even more freedom to spend evenings or happy hours with clients,” Dani says. Despite their busy schedules, family remains a priority. Their two children, Rachel and Perri, are following their own paths while staying close to home. Rachel is a freshman at ASU with aspirations of becoming an optometrist, while Perri, a sophomore at Desert Mountain, is an athletic leader who enjoys snowboarding and spending time with friends.

And then there’s Ringo, their four-year-old labradoodle who has become the center of their world. “We can’t imagine life without him,” Rob says. In fact, their love for dogs inspired the creation of the Yappy Hour Club, where residents and their pups gather at Paradise Lane Park. This year, they hosted their third annual Yappy Hour special event for the community.

A Home That Tells Their Story

Reflecting on their move to Arizona, Dani remembers their home feeling enormous after leaving a tiny NYC apartment. Over the years, they have transformed their space to match their evolving lifestyle. “At first, we focused on the toddler rooms. Later, we added a home bar and adult entertaining spaces. Most recently, we renovated our primary bathroom and kitchen,” she says.

Their advice to homeowners considering renovations? Keep major investments classic and timeless while using accessories to showcase personality. “I’ve looked at thousands of homes as a Realtor, and I can still say our home is our favorite,” Rob adds. “With the views of the mountains, sunsets, and city lights—and being in a community we love so much—we see no reason to move! Ironically, we’re the Realtors who have never moved.”

Guiding Clients with Heart

Through every transaction, Rob and Dani strive to guide their clients in discovering what truly matters to them. “You don’t have to be a serious buyer or seller to contact us,” they emphasize. Beyond real estate, they provide resources on market trends, home maintenance, and the Scottsdale lifestyle.

As they reflect on their 20 years in McDowell Mountain Ranch, the Mattisinkos acknowledge the challenges and joys of being in the “middle-age zone.” Between raising teenagers and caring for aging parents, life remains a balancing act. Yet, through it all, they hold firm to their core values, which guide both their marriage and business.

“Don’t quit until you’re proud!” they say.
